Lil Wayne: ‘Call me the LeBron James of the Rap world ’cause I deserve it’

For decades, people have referred to themselves as the “Michael Jordan” of many things. It was a straightforward method of expressing that you were the greatest of the best. But considering that Lebron and Jordan have been embroiled in a protracted basketball GOAT dispute for years, the word might be evolving. Lil Wayne chose a different approach when he was asked to clarify in a recent interview that he thought of himself as the greatest rapper of all time.

During the conversation, Wayne says, “I think I’m similar to Lebron.” He explains the similarities between them, including the fact that they were both early adopters of trends who got started at an early age and have maintained their pace ever since. In the interview’s reshared comments area, supporters seem to be rallying around him. “I don’t feel angry about it. One of the most widely shared comments was that he ought to have said it. “I see no lies told” and “Wayne is the greatest lyricist” are two further remarks that support this.
